This webpage provides you with information about me and contains links to other interesting VMware and Novell related websites.
Most of the information on this website is written in the Dutch language, except for this introductory page which provides you with some information in English.

In the Novell-area I have worked with most products, obviously the NetWare-versions 3/4/5/6, Open Enterprise Server and NDS eDirectory. But I have also worked on projects where I helped implement ZENworks for desktops and many other Novell products. In 2000 I was the first Certified Directory Engineer in The Netherlands and one of the first two CDE's in Europe. I am certified as a Master Certified Novell Instructor. I also deliver Linux-training for SUSE Linux for the Certified Linux Professional Track, a certification which I also hold. For the websites I build and manage I use Drupal (CMS), PHP MySQL and ZOHO Creator (web applications and databases). I can work in those fields for your organisation too. |
For several years I have been working as a VMware, Linux- and Novell-consultant and - trainer. With regards to VMware products I have worked with their software since 2000 and I an current on vSphere and vCenter, Workstation and Server, VMware View and related technologies such as using PowerCLI, VMware troubleshooting and performance analysys. I am a VMware Certified Instructor.The main focus of my activities is at VMware and Novell/Linux-products, but I have also worked with several other platforms and products. Besides my work as a consultant and trainer I am also a freelance journalist for a number of Dutch IT magazines. Therefore I have a very broad knowledge of the IT market. I haven't only worked as a consultant but also as project manager for several projects in various organisations. And being an enterpreneur I have learned how to work with people and processes.
Besides the activities listed above I have also translated a few computer related books from English to Dutch, such as Network and System Integration for Dummies and JavaServer Pages from O'Reilly. And I have written and published my own books on VMware and NetWare and wrote a clustering book for Novell Press.
